Louise Paul (Cooper)
Graduating with a BA Honours degree in French from Bangor University in 1989, Louise pursued a career in high profile retail environments, working at Simpson Piccadilly, LK Bennett, Daks Sloane St, Harrods and Jaeger. Her roles included providing excellent customer service, directing diverse teams and honing her skills in styling and merchandising which served her well when she founded Gingham Hearts Bespoke Catering in 2012.
Louise has a deep love of art, gardens and nature, music, theatre and ballet, these are often a source of inspiration in her work.
Warm, welcoming and hospitable, she lives out her passion for food and draws upon her extensive travels and experiences in France.
Louise built the successful catering company Gingham Hearts from the ground up after becoming a new mum. As well as creating Potty’s Popcorn Parlour and founding The Little Chasers Playgroup, she was instrumental in organising community events and parties in South-West London.
Since then, she has been involved in charities focusing on the mentoring and empowerment of young people with additional needs and has achieved awards such as the Barclay’s Trading Places Award and the Power of Women- Entrepreneur of the Year.
Over the years, Louise has catered and planned a diverse range of events, from corporate functions to weddings and private parties, each one tailored with precision and care to suit the unique needs and vision of her clients.
With Gingham Hearts Events, Louise continues to combine her love of the arts, her culinary skills, and her passion for creating unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences.
Lucy MacManus-Alfano
Lucy's career began in the management of pubs and restaurants giving her a wealth of experience and understanding of the hospitality industry. She most enjoys creating handmade favours and working closely with clients to create a unique experience tailored to each individual.
With an ACCA Accounting and Business Diploma, Lucy’s strong business acumen and organizational abilities have played a key role in the seamless execution of events including festivals and weddings of all themes and sizes.
Lucy's Mediterranean heritage deeply influences her passion for bringing people together to celebrate with delicious food and great company. She finds inspiration in the warm cultural traditions of her Italian family and blends them with her love for art and cinema, which shapes her aesthetic vision for each project.
